I just completed grade 11 at Mount Pearl Senior High.
My position this summer with WISE SSEP is Boreal Biogeochemsitry Research Assistant, which includes researching how boreal forest landscapes respond to climate change. I am excited about this position because I was considering pursuing a career in research, and I am very passionate about climate change, especially in today’s political climate.
I hope to learn as much as I can about this field and possible jobs for the future related to this subject.
