Clare is a Biology undergraduate honour student supervised by Sue Ziegler with co-supervisor Yolanda Weirsma (Biology). Her research is focused on understanding potential limits to the warming enhanced productivity of wet boreal forests in our region. She is addressing these potential controls on an important negative climate feedback by investigating variation in green and brown litterfall nutrient contents and estimating nutrient resorption across years and forest sites that vary in net primary production, water availability and temperature.
