My PhD focuses on the dynamics of plankton under the ice along the coast of Nunatsiavut northern Labrador. My research is collaborative and involves a team of experts in the communities of Nain and Postville. We are working together to better understand plankton composition and its connections to coastal food web to improve and clarify the understanding of climate change impacts on coastal ecosystems in the region. I am also the Graduate Development Coordinator for the Ocean Science Graduate Association (OSGSA).
