Sean Boyd

I received a B.Sc in Aquaculture (1999) from the Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture (formally Nova Scotia Agricultural College) and my Masters in Ecology and Evolution from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (2008). My research at Rutgers focused on the ecological impact of a recently introduced non-indigenous aquatic isopod into the Delaware Bay estuary. Working in various academic and commercial laboratories my focus has been on estuarine systems and includes participating in studies ranging from phytoplankton to macro-invertebrates. My role within the group is to oversee the use of the laboratory space and help facilitate ongoing and future research projects of BBERG.
