Resources and guidelines for developing and submitting drilling proposals:
Proponents are strongly encouraged to contact the Science Operators to discuss platform-specific operational and fiscal constraints before developing proposals. The IODP Proposal Manager has sole authority to accept proposals or grant exceptions to deadlines and policies. Proponents with questions about submitting proposals can contact the IODP Science Support Office for assistance.
Site Survey Data Bank
Data Submission Deadline: 1 November 2016, 23:59 GMT
The Site Survey Data Bank (SSDB) is a repository for site survey data submitted in support of IODP proposals and expeditions.
Site characterization data (such as seismic profiles) are an integral part of your proposal and are critical for a successful review outcome. After submitting a proposal, you will be contacted when your proposal and sites have been loaded into SSDB. You will then have until the data deadline to complete your data submissions.
Workshop Proposals
MagellanPlus Workshop Series Programme: Co-funded by ECORD and ICDP and designed to support European and Canadian (ECORD) scientists in developing new and innovative science proposals for submission to IODP and ICDP. The programme has one call annually with deadline on January 15.
