ON THE MID-ATLANTIC RIDGE



 
 
The last stop on our trip before returning back to Reykjavík was at the mid-Atlantic Ridge in the south-western part of Iceland. This geologically significant region also coincides with Pingvellir, the location of the original Icelandic parliament.
